magic PLANT – Basic
The vessel's conical design minimizes material waste, enabling efficient processing of even the smallest batches during formulation development. The double-jacketed design allows for precise temperature control throughout mixing. A centrally mounted stirrer, complemented by optional wipers, provides thorough mixing action. The vessel can be easily emptied via the bottom valve or tilted and removed as needed, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
Magic PLANT – Inline
Featuring the IKA magic LAB dispersing machine with a dynamic rotor/stator system affixed directly to the vessel, this setup is designed to prevent sedimentation and promote uniform mixing—a must for the sensitive nature of battery components. Its recirculation process is pivotal, refining the slurry through continuous shearing, crucial for achieving the optimal particle size distribution in battery materials.
These are the most important functions of this machine:
- Creation of turbulences in the lower part of the mixing vessel to avoid sedimentation of the mixing product and the possibility of treating very small quantities
- Recirculation of the product with shearing, i.e. pumping with the dispersing stage
- Recirculation of the product with high shear, i.e. pumping with the dispersing stage at increased speed
The magic PLANT powder facilitates uniform mixing and precise drying of varied battery materials, accommodating diverse particle sizes and densities. Its unique spiral agitator ensures homogeneous blending through extensive radial and tangential motion. The inclinable vessel design enables optimal drying across humidity and density variations, maintaining consistent quality through uniform temperature and moisture distribution.

- Drying of powders and granules
- Homogenizing, mixing and coating of powders
- Better mixing and drying result by inclination of the complete mixing vessel
- Complete discharge either through a special valve at the vessel bottom or by tilting of the vessel

- Stirrer speed can be adapted to the product characteristics
