The CMS module excels in the incorporation of powders into liquids through a rapid, enclosed recirculation process. It creates a vacuum at the powder inlet, directly drawing the powder into the mixing chamber. This innovative design enables quick, dust-free, and lump-free incorporation, resulting in energy-efficient and homogeneous mixing.

Continuous high-solid processing:
The MHD module enables truly continuous incorporation of powders into liquids, with precise volumetric or gravimetric control over the solid-to-liquid ratio. Leveraging its robust design, this module can handle highly viscous dispersions up to 50 Pa·s and solid loadings as high as 80% in a single pass, optimizing the production of high-solids electrode pastes.

Advanced milling capabilities:
The Colloid Mill MK and Cone Mill MKO modules offer advanced wet milling capabilities. The MKO features an additional tungsten carbide coating on the cone outlet, increasing the friction surface area. This optimized design produces ultra-fine suspensions at reduced flow rates with consistent, narrowly distributed particle sizes - critical for high-performance electrode slurries.

Versatile batch processing:
The ULTRA-TURRAX® UTC module empowers magic LAB® as an efficient batch disperser, ideal for small-scale testing, quality control, and batch preparation processes.

Efficiently scale-up:
The system expands into a Micro-Plant setup by integrating inline dispersers, mills, or colloid mills. This versatile configuration provides an optimal solution for formulation development, process optimization, and tool evaluation. By precisely controlling parameters like speed, shear rate, temperature, pressure, and residence time, the magic LAB® facilitates a smooth R&D to production transition while maintaining consistent quality. Critical for scaling up battery production while maintaining quality.

Robust operating conditions:
Designed to withstand continuous operation under elevated temperatures and pressures, meeting the demanding conditions of battery manufacturing processes. It offers 1L and 2L Micro-Plant versions, with the 2L model featuring double-walled heating/cooling and pressure/vacuum capabilities. It operates continuously at up to 80°C and 2.5 bar, with seal materials rated for 120°C short-term use. The 900W UTL configuration runs at 26,000 RPM and 130 L/h throughput.
